IRELAND! And the Way I Ramble …

I know, I know — my posts can be too much and then too little, and too little and then too much — and honestly I just can’t help it.

In my defense, I could tell you All of the Why, but you don’t want to hear it. I’m a rambler. I bet you’ve never noticed that.

Rambling has been the result of waiting for way too long now, and just as I’m almost at the finish line … off goes the thought into merry merry nowhere.

This time I think I might get there. Ya gotta believe. At any rate, I’m finally back at the starting gate — I’m writing. Gasp.

If you haven’t noticed, life is a funny thing. After decades of — well, basically everything — I’m coming back to my roots, and that means a combination of writing and travel. Because I love it? Yes. Because it feeds me? Yes. Because it changes me? Yes.

Yes Yes Yes.

And while I can’t say that I’m about to write the Next Great American Novel, I’m okay with that. I believe we reach a point in life where we’re free to some extent, and after decades and decades (yes, I’m old), of life in a BIG way, I’m putting my chickens into life in the slow lane — , and by that I mean slow but lots more of it. And I like that. I really, really like it.

And here’s the fun part:

I’m headed to Fabulous Ireland in a few months, and you know what? It’s like I’ve come home. I’m not even there yet, but I feel it everywhere around me, and it feels So Good.

Getting back to Ireland soothes me, excites me, influences me and changes me in every way, and I’m not the only one — I pretty much hear the same words from everyone I pass. Honestly, I’ve never known anyone who doesn’t love Ireland. Are there any? No. Simply no.

The best news is that Laura and I have two spaces open for May, and a plethora of opportunities to fall in love with Ireland’s Magic. We have two remaining spaces open and we’d love to have you join us the week of May 9 – May 16. Trust me — you won’t want to leave. And hey, that’s okay too.

If that sounds good to you but you need a few lessons in getting your engine started, Laura and I are here to help.

I love to hear from you!
